Couple's Therapy Online & In-Person Madrid, Spain

I offer couples therapy to all, inclusive of all gender, sexual, and relationship diversity.

It doesn't matter how much you love each other, all relationships encounter difficulties.

Conflict is normal, but when you're stuck in the same patterns, having the same fights, and feeling more distant every week, it becomes harder to stay connected.

Maybe you're tired of circling the same issues with no resolution. Maybe you don't want to leave, but you don't want to keep living like this either. Maybe you're wondering if it's even possible to get back what you once had.

Taking this step shows a commitment to growth and connection in your relationship.

Your relationship isn't broken, but it is stuck

Is Couple's Therapy Right For You?

If you're struggling with any of these, you're in the right place:

  • The same fights on repeat with no resolution.

  • Growing distance between you, like you're roommates instead of partners.

  • Struggling to reconnect after having a baby or major life change.

  • Navigating a significant transition such as retirement, illness, career change, empty nest.

  • Dealing with the aftermath of infidelity or betrayal.

  • Feeling controlled or unheard by your partner.

  • Finding it impossible to have a conversation without it escalating.

  • Expressing anger in ways that leave both of you hurt.

  • Questioning if you're still in love.

  • Sexual disconnect, wanting more, wanting less, or feeling bored and disconnected.

  • One of you shutting down while the other pursues.

Relationship therapy can also be helpful for non-romantic relationships such as siblings, parent and adult child, friends, or business partners.

How Does Couple's Therapy Work?

Here's what couples therapy with me is NOT: it's not me taking sides, deciding who's right or wrong, or telling you what to do.

Here's what it IS: a space where both of you can be heard, where we uncover what's really happening beneath the surface arguments, and where you learn how to relate to each other differently.

My role is to:

Your role is to:

  • Stay neutral. I'm not here to be a judge or a referee.

  • Help each of you understand how you're experiencing the relationship.

  • Identify the patterns that are keeping you stuck.

  • Create a safe space where difficult conversations can actually happen.

  • Give you tools to communicate more effectively and break destructive cycles.

  • Show up with honesty, even when it's uncomfortable.

  • Be willing to look at your own contribution to the dynamic, not just your partner's.

  • Stay curious instead of defensive.

  • Do the work between sessions. Therapy isn't magic, it's practice.

I treat both partners with respect and invite you to bring an open, curious approach to understanding your relationship. This isn't about fixing one person. It's about understanding the dance you're both doing and learning new steps.

What Will We Work On Together?

This is for you if:

  • You want a deeper understanding of yourself as a partner in this relationship.

  • Have awareness of what matters most to you and how to express it without blame or defensiveness.

  • You want more effective ways to communicate, especially during conflict.

  • Gain insight into where the relationship is getting stuck and what part you can play to create change.

  • Discover ways to reconnect emotionally, physically, and intimately.

  • Have tools to resolve differences without destroying each other in the process.

  • Gain clarity on whether you want to stay together or part ways, and why.

This isn't an exhaustive list. Some of what we work on will be specific to your relationship. Whether you're navigating communication breakdown, emotional disconnection, infidelity, or simply growing apart, couples therapy can help.

How to Get Started

If you're ready to get started, you can book into a 15-20 mins consultation call here. Or, if you'd like to chat to me first, you can send me a message here. I invite you to share a few words about yourself (and your relationship) and why you're seeking therapy. Questions are also welcome, and I encourage you to be as open and specific as you'd like.

15-20 Minute Free Consultation (Phone/Video) with Each Partner

Before we officially start, I'll have a brief chat with each partner to briefly understand what you want to work on and whether couple's therapy is appropriate for your situation.

Signing A Contract

Therapy Contract and Questionnaire

After an initial phone call with each of you, I will send a therapy contract and questionnaire that I ask each partner to complete and return to me before the start of our first session.

Therapy Session Discussion

First Session

This is an exploration for all of us. We'll discuss boundaries, my approach, and what brought you to therapy. This session helps us determine if we're a good fit to work together.

If your partner is not ready to engage with the process of Couples Therapy, there is still a lot that can be gained from individual therapy. If you’re interested, head over to the Individual Therapy page to learn more.
